Stainless Steel 347 is a type of chromium-nickel alloy that includes niobium (columbium) to keep it strong when exposed to high temperatures (around 800–1500 °F or 427–816 °C). This addition prevents internal corrosion between grain boundaries, making it stable and durable. The 347H variant has more carbon, which gives it even better strength and resistance to deformation at very high heat. These sheets are tough in both hot and cold conditions, non-magnetic when annealed, easy to weld and shape, and resistant to rust and oxidation.
